I'm looking for a summer internship in the south bay/east bay/ peninsula. I'm currently going to UCSC and I'll graduate in June '09. I'm a business management econ major. So far, the pickings are slim. It seems like everyone is looking for MBA students who already have their BA/BS. I figured it wouldn't hurt to post this here.

Good luck, man. It's a tough time trying to find a job let alone an internship.

 

try your schools career fair website. try asking friends/family. usually a lot of those econ/finance or whatever companies finish recruiting their summer interns by the end of April. but other slightly less econ/finance oriented companies are still available up to around the end of may. (safeway, target, enterprise rent-a-car, kohls...)

 

if u wanna move down south, endless usa is looking for a marketing intern

 

actually internships shouldn't be too bad... big corporation usually has a separate budget for hiring interns...

but i also know they are usually done hiring interns right about now... often time they start the process around Jan...
