6MT is definitely tempting... Cost wise, it might be cheaper to beef up the 5MT and change the ratios. I'm going to research into both options.

ESX Tranny

I have done quite a large amount of research on the subject of the tranny. The besy option, overall would have to be the Easy Street 5 speed full replacement. It can handle the crazy amount of power (does their 750 series setup) and you don't have the "extra" shift in the 1/4. Good overall and for 6300 - 500 for your old tranny core it is not a bad option.

Just my .02.

Based on what info on that tranny? I mean with all due respect the ESX crew I would imagine the tranny is a rebadged item so the most important question is who manufactures it?

Following that I would want to know what ratios it's available in, is it a synchro or dog box, is it built into a stock Subaru casing.

Don't listen to any of the BS that people talk about "case flexing" when using RA gears, it is not true nor proven. Check this link, you will find everything you need: https://www.i-club.com/forums/showth...threadid=46560
