The RA gearset is a much closer ratio gearset than the stock, but the first gear is taller.

STi RA Ver 5 ratios:
1=3.083
2=2.062
3=1.545
4=1.151
5=0.825

Stock WRX
1=3.454
2=1.947
3=1.366
4=0.972
5=0.738

Notice that 1st is taller on the RA?
