Depends on your definition of first...if you say low gear=first then no, but if you say the first gear I get in, then yes 
Seriously, my car can right now go 55 in first gear - no joke.
It has an STi RA gearset in it with no motor, so if I someone can push me 55 then I'll put it first.

:rotfl: yeah, they should all get a three-way circle jerk going on! lol and hiro, he did keep mentioning some special technique... maybe he coasts down a hill with the clutch pedal in, and the shifter in first, but never lets off the clutch... technically it is 55 in first... bwah ha ha ha :rotfl:
