Swat breached with flash bangs. Guy shot with an ak47 through a wall killing two officers and wounding another.
Damn flatline. I'm glad you're o.k. This is a terrible time for law enforcement in a lot of places. Cuts to staff. Increase in violent crimes. Etc.
Did swat breach or regular PD? Was wondering about flash bangs or any kind of breach techniques. The news made it sound like the busted the door down and ran in but that doesn't sound right. I heard the guy just posted up on the opposite wall and it was pretty much a suicide assault. Friggin sucks. I can't imagine how the families must feel and his friends and fellow officers.

My brother in law is fresno P.D. they had a couple officers a few years back that got set up. Fake call. Guy waited for them on a balcony and opened up with an AR.
These people don't deserve to live.

Guy got lucky on all shots. He got lucky and hit head shots. He finished off the first two execution style.

PS: I figured the shooter shot through a wall to get the SWAT guys, it's the only way to get them by surprise and anyone who knows firearms knows an AK round will go through even a thick wall like hot butter.
just like what it says... like a funnel that is big at the top, and then gets smaller and smaller.
the quick and brief footage from ch 5, show a hallway and then a very small doorway. barely one person can squeeze through it. then add all the gear and protective gear SWAT had on, a standard 4 man entry team would have had a hard time breaching through it, let alone one man.
by the time the first 2 breached, the bad guy would have ample time to fire off lots of rounds.
it if were actually a 4 man team, i am surprised, VERY SURPRISED, there aint 2 additional deaths...
with a ballistic shield that can withstand a .308 round, it's too bad one was wasnt used...

Next time they should simply use anti-personnel grenade(s). A few of those would have saved police lives - and who gives a damn about a cop-killer??

I agree with flatline, i hope this son of a bit@# is enjoying hell. My wife and I personaly knew officer john hege and will dearly miss him. If this scum bag would have just ran after the first shots at least two offices would be alive. I just thank god that there are people out ther still willing to put there life on the line while trying to make it a better world. May all 4 officers rest in peace!

The people rioting weren't overturning/burning a BART PD vehicle, it was OPD...I was looking @ it from their p.o.v
As for the back of crack cocaine in Grants ***...REALLY?! No crackhead is gonna spend the time to shove a bag of crack UP their crack. Working in custody treatment, I dealt with many a crackhead over the years...they ALWAYS ALWAYS swallow it. Now, if Oscar Grant wasn't able to swallow the baggie of crack cuz he was already cuffed/tazed/DEAD, then the next logical place it could be hidden would be somewhere a bit more sinister.
Looking at it from the p.o.v of 'the man', it makes perfect sense to throw Grant under the bus by turning him into a troublesome crackhead. The pathology of such thinking makes it real easy to believe that someone would shove a baggie of crack up his *** end on the table at the morgue. Its acting out in hate, a lame/ironic attempt to cover your own ***, and even more indicative of a VERY shady system at work.
