30k Maintenance in Sac area

Hello all,

It's that time, my 30,000 mile maintenance is due. Who's already had this service done in the Sacramento area? Any recommendations on what shop I should take it to? Should I go with the dealer shop, or somewhere like S Squared?

Anyone know a shop in town that sells Motul RBF 600 brake fluid, and Redline tranny/diff fluid?

How much should I expect to pay for the maint?

Basically I need to get all this done:

I - Drive belt(s) [Except camshaft]
I - Camshaft drive belt
N/A - Engine oil
N/A - Engine oil filter
P - Replace engine coolant and inspect cooling system, hoses and connections
P - Replace fuel filter and inspect fuel system, hoses and connections
R - Air cleaner element
R - Spark plugs
(R)*- Transmission/Differential (Front & Rear) lubricants (Gear oil) (Purchase Redline $10)
I - Automatic transmission fluid
R* - Brake fluid (Purchase Motul 600 fluid $30)
I - Disc brake pads and discs, front and rear axle boots and axle shaft joint portions
I - Brake linings and drums
P - Inspect brake lines and check operation of parking and service brake system
I - Clutch operation
I - Steering and suspension

I - Inspect
P - Perform
R - Replace

I took my car to Autowest in the Roseville automall. They charged me $450 for everything. This may be a little pricey as I did no shopping before. They did an excellent job and it was done VERY promptly.

My suggestion if you want specific lubes is buy them first then tell the dealer to use that instead. This might not work because the dealer will want to put in Sube lube'.

:banana:SUBE LUBE!

YEAH!

At 30k too. I say you gather some old receipts of oil/filters etc and do as much as you can. Then pick a place and have them deduct what you've done from the list to cut down on cost. Be sure to bring in receipts of what you've purchased etc.

Im at 15k and this is what im going to do. I have ALL my reciepts too so there's no question and they can't f*ck me over. Be very specific in what you've done and what you need to be done or else they might try to pull a fast one on you.

As for the fluids. im not sure about the brake fluid but try tognottis. I know for a fact they have redline ATF and other reline gear oils. check the back of the shop near the fuel cells too.
