I believe that information was posted previously in the thread.

Gil....im sooo sorry to hear/see what happened.....most important thing is that YOU are okay....the car will be fine and from the pics...youre the lucky one as far as damage. your insurance company will take care of you

as for cops not coming to the scene of an accident in a parking lot....when i was hit in the PW lot coming out...i was at the stop sign and the lady was turning in...she slid and hit me while i was stopped waiting to exit...i was still in the parking lot property...i was told by a really nice lady at the dispatch that they do not come out to malls, grocery stores etc if it happens on the property since it is private...as long as both cars are driveable and there are no injurys. it is up to the drivers to exchange info and be on their way.

sadly there is a HUGE loop hole when it comes to getting into an accident....you are legally required to have insurance and a license....but if you dont and cause an accident there is nothing they are required to do to you..except give you a ticket for not having them and impound the car.(and thats only if a cop is in site) its still possible the driver will be issued a ticket...i believe there is an 18 month window where it can still be issued.

Yea, it's unbelievable that is all the punishment they get for not having all the legal stuff. My car is going to the shop tomorrow. Hopefully it'll come back new like it was.

Got my suby back today.
Big props for Michael J's body shop in San Jose. They weren't joking when they said they'll bring the car back to new.

You need body work? Go there and talk to Pedro.

Hopefully that guy gets his car taken away, maybe even better it turns out to be stolen and if they find that guy they can land his *** in jail. Sorry to hear about that, really sucks.
