I'm averaging 22-24 mpg in my heavy *** fxt with no engine mods to speak of. It will be interesting to see what the vf39 swap does to it.

Ok i just got back from tahoe/ Sierra for the last 5 days and this is the break down on the MPG's

From my house in San Calos to Sierra, from Sierra to Harvy's and the next day to Sierra and back again and filled up at the chevron on hwy 50 i got 280 miles and 21.5 mpg. That's driving about 75-80 mph with a toof rack on my car, not to bad for a full built engine with a huge turbo and injectors and some "fun" in the parking lot of Sierra .

Now after I got gas on the Chevron I drive to Sierra and back the next two days and went on a small drive to test out my new tires.... I left Harvy's Monday Morning with about 1/4 of my gass gone and got all the way to my house in San Carlos. I am still on that same fill up and I will be getting gas on the way home from work today. I'm at 340 miles and I will tell you my mpg when I fill up later tonight....

I got 18 my last trip to the snow. Altitude driving drops mileage.

I got 25mpg on my '03 scooby! Wewt =P.

I noticed my light goes off when I still have like 5-6 gallons left.

I pumped 13.5 gallons after driving 350miles. Which means I could probably go around 400 miles before I have to fill up. But 350 is good enough... light comes on around 300 =P. Pretty much drove home with the light on @ 300miles and still had over 2 gallons by the time I filled up at 350.

You guys are lucky... If I break 200 miles on the trip meter my fuel light is on and I'm on fumes haha, But I enjoy driving my car hard.

You guys have it easy, I am lucky to get ~14mpg city averaged out. Try filling your tank for $12x.xx and then doing it again in 130-140 miles. I bet when I switch to E85, I'll end up getting 12mpg city, but at least it will be <$3/gal, beats this $10+/gal 104oct.
