19 MPG average

Ive been drivng my 06 WRX to the snow and back and only averaging 19 MPG. Ive been driving 75 MPH and really not goosing the gas. Any ideas what this could be beyond a normal tune up? Im gonna bust that out on sat. And about that, im gonna replace spark plugs and air filter, what else should i replace? Thanks for feedback.

a lot of it is driving style too, if you keep out of boost, you save more fuel

That's not bad at all man, going up HWY 50 or 80 can kill gas in any car. I drive from my house in San Mateo to my house in Tahoe 220mi and have 1/4 take of gas left, drive to Searra and back the next day puts me at like 250 miles and I fiill up with about 13 gall of gas. That's 19.2 mpg so I think your fine.

Mods I have done are
built 2.5 swap gt3076 w/ 850cc and about every bult on you can have

exactly what i was thinking.
Stay in vacuum. Stay out of boost. Try and use the floating technique if you have the patience for it. It pays off really well if you can do it long term.

yah a lot of it depends on where u drive. For example I only average 19mpg on winter gas from SF to SSF using 280 freeway (lots of inclines, almost never flat) at around 75-80 mph.

I got 23 mpg going down 101S (all flat, no inclines) going 65-75 mph on winter gas.

On summer gas I get 20-21 mpg on 280 freeway going 75-80 mph

In just city driving in SF, I get only 16 mpg.
