WRX Average price
Hey guys and girls,
Just wondering, for those who bought a WRX, what price did you get the car for and what was the total after all the fees and good stuff. Plus what options did you get. I just want to see if I'm getting a good deal or not. Thanx much!

i got a wagon so i don't know if this would matter to you but i'll tell you anyways. i paid 22,200. that price also include the Sti short shifter, the rear cargo tray, the rear bumper protector thing, wheel locks, the rear cargo cover, and a pen. tax was 1,110 so that total came to 23,310. pretty good deal. and oh yeah, it had only 5 miles on it.

im not old enough to drive yet but i checked it out online-with the manual tranny, 17'', short shifter, rear diff protector, wheel locks, muffler, basically everything it comes out to about 365 + tax (MSRP). u can prob get a good deal on it if u find out invoice and wholesale prices 4 it

If you got 36k sitting around buy the STI cuz it should be pretty close to that price. Tha is if your not impatient, unlike myself.
I got mine with thte Prodrive OZ wheels, the short shifter, the upgraded sound system. and the (worthless) extended arm rest I had to hagel with the dealer to swap the wheels of a Black sedan. I got the car for a little under 25k wich is pretty good I think. I had also just bought a Legacy and since this was the third car I bought from them in like a year they were very willing to negotiate.
You could probably get a left over 2002 if you looked around for a good deal as well. If there is 2 dealerships close enough to each other you should definately play them against each other.
Dealerships usually work on a monthly basis for quotas, this isnt written in stone but you should be able to get a better deal at the end of the month. Also never mention your trade in until after you settle on the price of the car.

See now I hear the EVO was supposed to be around 36, and then I heard they are using a stripped down AWD system and wouldnt come with the "tarmac" "snow" "dirt" selector. A guy I work with loves the EVO he runs the site EVO8.com or something close to that. maybe the eight is spelled out?

rear sway bar on sedan is 20mm versus 17mm on the wagon. also the sedan has that nice wide body look to it. wagon is 70 to 80lb heavier.
