Is it just me or did you shift like 32 times in the span of ~2 miles?

I like the Monterey tunnel

I still kind of don't understand where this is in relation to the old pass? Did they completely reroute this thing?

I shifted a lot. I enjoy rev-matching and was having fun with the sounds in the tunnel. Plus, my transmission is not long for the world, so it's no big deal.

Yeah it bypasses the section that is right along the ocean cliff where the slides used to happen. Goes straight through the mountain instead of around it.

Well, I didn't want to do much more than 20 over in my first time through a new tunnel w/ a good amount of traffic. There's a perfect spot for CHP to sit and wait for the loud car to emerge. The 3" turbo-back @ WOT as long as I felt comfortable holding it 2 or 3 times near redline was not all that quiet in the car! That's not a GoPro, it's an old-school Sony DV tape cam suction-mounted to my back window. That's why the vid and sound suck!

The editing, however, is superb! I did it myself!

Kinda didn't look like it, but could have been a Gopro; but you know, just made a guess. LOL @ suction cupped to window. Kinda looked like it was mounted on a harness bar because of where it was.
