Depends. Bad tuning= broken engine, good tuning= broken transmission. Pick your poison. But at 17 psi, I don't think either one would last too long.

Well, first off, if it's only going to be a month, why not just wait for the Link? And run whatrever gas you plan on running normally. Higher octane will hide potential knocking problems. Lastly, don't just 'putter around town.' Take it out and get some good hard runs in- short enough so that you don't get heat soak, but enough to make sure your rings seat properly.

Go with a USDM swap, it will be legal that way, not to mention easier.
