Diamond Peak: TBD (11 Dec opening recently postponed)
Dodge Ridge: TBD (soon!!!)
Donner Ski Ranch: TBD (soon!!!)
Heavenly: since Fri, 28 Nov
Homewood: Thur, 18 Dec (12 Dec opening recently re-scheduled)
Kirkwood: Fri, 12 Dec
Mt Rose: since Thur, 13 Nov
Northstar-at-Tahoe: since Sat, 6 Dec
Sierra-at-Tahoe: TBD (soon!!!)
Soda Springs: TBD (soon!!!)
Squaw Valley: Sat, 6 Dec & Sun, 7 Dec ONLY (then closed midweek, M-F, re-opening full-time on Sat, 13 Dec)
Sugar Bowl: Fri, 12 Dec thru Sun, 14 Dec ONLY (then closed midweek, M-Th, re-opening full-time on Fri, 19 Dec)
Tahoe Donner: Fri, 12 Dec
*note: All "future" dates are tentative pending conditions & weather.

Just got back from Boreal as well. It was pretty good for pre-season I thought, if your a park rat. Two tables, manny pad, few ledges. Otherwise dont go if your looking to carve, the run was quick like datsweaksauce said. I'm trying to get out as many times as possible this season so it was worth it for me.

Welcome to Post #2091.
Didya make it out there this wknd? Got conditions update? Imho, firsthand acct's are more valuable than what resorts like to say in their snow reports.

... CHANGE TO WINTER CONDITIONS THIS WEEKEND...
HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE WEST COAST WILL MOVE INTO THE CENTRAL PACIFIC ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. THIS WILL ALLOW ARCTIC AIR TO MOVE SOUTH FROM ALASKA AND NORTHERN CANADA AND LOWER HIGH TEMPERATURE READINGS FROM FRIDAY TO SUNDAY BY 20 TO 30 DEGREES.
THE INITIAL BLAST OF COLD AIR IS FORECAST TO REACH THE AREA LATE FRIDAY OR EARLY SATURDAY AS A STRONG COLD FRONT MOVES INTO NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AND NORTHWEST NEVADA. AHEAD OF THE FRONT... WINDS ARE LIKELY TO INCREASE AND MAY BE STRONG AT TIMES. THE FRONT SHOULD MOVE SOUTH AND EAST OF THE AREA BY LATE SATURDAY AFTERNOON.
THERE IS A CHANCE FOR VALLEY RAIN AND MOUNTAIN SNOW ALONG THE FRONT. RAIN WILL PROBABLY ONLY OCCUR AHEAD OF THE FRONT... AS SNOW LEVELS WILL QUICKLY DROP TO VALLEY FLOORS ONCE THE FRONT PASSES. AT THIS TIME SIGNIFICANT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE NOT FORECAST TO OCCUR IN THE SIERRA OR WESTERN NEVADA.
COLD AIR SHOULD CONTINUE TO AFFECT MUCH OF THE WEST INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK AS THE MAIN STORM TRACK WILL BE FROM THE NORTH. MODELS ARE INDICATING ADDITIONAL STORMS MAY MOVE INTO THE SIERRA AND WESTERN NEVADA SUNDAY THROUGH TUESDAY. THE TRACK OF THE STORMS IS UNCERTAIN. HOWEVER MODELS SHOW THERE IS SOME POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT SNOW
