We are not talking about all laws, just 1 law - the DUI law and how it applies equally to automobiles and bikes. Although this has nothing to do with the thread.
So you think it's 100% fine that someone riding their bike home under the influence so they wouldn't drive drunk would have the same exact penalties as a person knowingly driving drunk at 3-4 times the speed in/on a vehicle weighing thousands of pounds more?
I guess life would be easier if I would just agree with every law and never even question them, but once I start thinking for myself I start seeing things that don't make sense - like the DUI on a bike.
Again, not saying there should be no penalties for riding a bicycle while intoxicated - just saying they should not be the same as those for a car since the situations are not comparable in most cases. A stiff Drunk In Public, community service, whatever. Taking someone's license away because they were trying to do the right thing by NOT DRIVING does not encourage future good behavior.

good pictures jack. The one in the last pic on the right was the one getting everyone. He went to some sort of street racing training class.
