Yay for car profiling, first experience with hood popping and pissy cops.

Wow, i wonder if they were the same police officiers who did that to our guy...that's pretty messed up. They are power tripping. Such treatment from these guys..it's pretty disgusting. They need to have sometihng better to do.

Second question: Is the person who was handcuffed a student of UC Davis?

Not justifying the officers' actions - just saying, if I were in that situation and did not give my name or ID when asked - I would expect the situation to escalate and expect some bullying or whatever BS from the cops. Once they detect that they have something there (PC) they will push and try to get the person to do even more things that they can write down on the ticket. They were trying to get him to fight back so they could say he was assaulting them.
Once you "open the door" for an officer, cop, chp or whatever - you really cannot complain about what they do. This is very well known. In most cases any actions they take, no matter how unreasonable they seem, are well calculated and at the very edge of being legal, however they know what they are doing and know the law way better than you do in most cases, and they use this against you.

When Mason asked to see Kornbluth's driver license, Kornbluth told him he didn't have it.
They found his driver license in his wallet, which was in one of his pockets.

parking permit didnt matter at the time..it was past 10pm and its open parking after that. and yea i learned that if you have any questions about whats going on you get to ask them after you've handed over ID or whatever they want. now if the cops take some unreasonable action after you complied, then thats messed up and there needs to be somethin done.
