Upgrade turbo time

I want power, I want my package in my pants to go into my stomache. I road in my buddies 94 camaro z28. His custom turbo wieghs 80+ lbs alone. He pushes over 1200+ horses. I road in that thing and wanted to urinate everywhere. Yet he drives it on the street, which is totally idiotic I think. Anyway, My OTHER friend has a uhhhhh I wanna say 97? I dont hold me to it, a 97 GST eclipse... He upgraded a turbo and blew his motor all to hell. But he also said he didn't change the oil. But I was wondering, I want a bigger turbo. Some say if you go bigger turbo, You need you make sure your engine can handle it, or it will tear it to shreads. What do I have to upgrade? I wanna push around 450 horses. And btw whats the best exaust for 06 sti's? I want a deep voice, not a can of bees like hondas.

I'd say go with a forced performance red turbo. You will need to upgrade your injectors, fuel pump, Accessport, and possibly your clutch. Their are alot of good exhaust choices out there. I like cobbs stuff (catted or turboback, both are very good) You should also upgrade your up pipe and downpipe for maximum performance. If you want to keep your motor safe with all that power than just keep the boost to a reasonable level.
