Im looking to upgrade the turbo in my 04 STI. Anybody got any suggestions.Im looking for about min 400HP output with good tune from this upgrade.I got cash right now and want to do this yesterday.Any suggestions and or turbos for SALE>>>!!!!!!!!

I will have a Deadbolt TD06 18G available shortly. Only problem is unless you are planning on running E85 (none in Hawaii) you will never touch 400awhp.

I'd run a 35r or a stock location ATP3076 if you want that much hp. But I'd run some aftermarket pistons if I did that. GL!

 

400whp or 400 chrak HP? because 400whp is not an easy thing by any means to hit on pump gas. I have a full built engine heads/cams with a gt3076 and I have 360whp on a mustang dyno, If you run a dyno jet or something that reads high I'm sure 400whp can be reached.

 

You want min 400 whp out of a stock sti....

You might want to look at what that's going to entail, I can tell you at least 3k just for supporting modifications. Probably need meth, and a 35r. Rotated would make it easier... It's been done but I don't see it happening in Hawaii unless u build your block.

So far I've TBE,CAI,AP w/stage 2 tune for 93 Octane.I'm not satisfied with the power out put.Im looking to scavange as much power as possible before sumthing either brakes or I have to Build the bottom end.So I guess the more realalistic goal would be 400hp at the crank.From what ive seen thats very attainable with bolt ons and a good tune (correct me if im wrong).So what would u guys suggest now knowing what I have?

If you are making 300awhp, you are already making 400hp at the crank. What is your current hp numbers?

 

I am still shopping around for my next turbo so maybe looking at a month or less

On my last dyno tune I put down 338 whp and 360 wtq at a target psi of 21lbs. 338 whp is roughly 400 to the crank if you wanted to look at it that way.

 

I never had it Dynoed.Im not even sure where there is an all-wheel drive dyno on Ohau..
