Do some searching for previous posts on this - should find some good info as it is a popular subject. I must add to the mix the SSR Competition. In a 17x7.5" they're about 12.5 lbs. I've had good luck with this wheel on my wagon for about 30k miles. Here's the wheel I have.

You should also check out Centerline wheels. I think they're some of the lightest wheels made and I think they make sizes for the WRX.

Forging gives the metal more strength per unit of mass - so the forged wheels are generally "better," but you'll pay more for this property. Forged wheels can also have more "radical" designs because spokes can be narrower due to the increase in strength.

15's will not clear the calipers of a WRX. You need to at least have 16's. Unless you have the Subaru 4pots, then you have the chance of clearing some 15inchers. I know because I have a set for the winter when skiing.
