Lightest Wheel/Tire combination

Has to be an 8" rim at least.

My thoughts were 16X8 Rota slipstreams with Falken 615's

Does anybody know which maximum performance tire is the lightest?

Aren't there several wheels lighter than the slipstreams? How many pounds are those?

I'm quite tempted to buy a set of 16" Slipstreams for AutoX...I was told they were 14.5lbs which is a lot lighter than my P45F's at 24lbs.

Not sure which are the lightest tyres but I was told my S03's are extremely heavy. It's all about the unsprung weight savings

i think slipstreams are 14.5Lbs at 16x7 (the ones i was looking for)
but people think they need 16x8 to be fast so rota doesnt produce 16x7's anymore because of noobs that want 8 inches.

15x8s are 14.7 so the 16 x 8s gotta be around 17

dont know why i didnt think of this earlier but if youre worried about weight, then why are you getting an 8 inch wide?

unless your tires are gonna be 245, but then youd have a 45-50 lb wheel opposed to a 35-40 lb wheel

The reason for 8" is to comfortably run 245 tyres...not because of noobs
