My first choice is Michelin Pilot Sport a/s - pricy, but worth it IMHO. Incredible wet traction. I have them a size wider than stock. They have been great in the snow also. We go up at least a dozen times a season.

Second choice is Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S.

I had 215/45/17 Continental Extreme Contact M+S on stock wheels ('06 WRX), they did a damn fine job in the snow. Dry traction is pretty good for a M+S tire, and wet traction is great as well.
