I highly recommend this, but if you're serious you'll spend way more than one night there. Go to www.tirerack.com ,on the home page ,punch in your make, model and year, then select tires. Depending on how your gonna drive them,in what kinda wx, etc. select a type like ultra high performance summer or ultra high performance A/S and have at it. There is a huge amount of info on the header bar and tons of reviews. You'll get the hang of it quickly, but there are dozens of good tires anywhere from $70 ea. for General UHP to 200++ for michelin, bridgestone, etc. When you go there you are getting opinions from literally thousands of people and millions of mile of usage.

Yeah....your best bet right there. If your preference is for better where, just look for ones with higher tread wear ratings. There are so many options and what I think is good for an sti is not anything that is going to last longer than stock.

As for your other questions, break them up and get them in the according section to get a better answer. There are plenty of items out there for the 06-07 STI as it is a well supported car. Many of the vendors on this site can get you anything you need.

yeah i have the same exact kit. but mine was done very cheap.. soo its kinda crappy =l the 3 front grill pieces dont fit in perfectly. and the rear skirts arent put in properly. alsoo.. the side skirts.. i think they cut the edges to make it fit.. and they cut it hella ugly <<< i got my **** done at a mexican place they did everything for 350 dollars and i got the kit for 575. and yep... they screwd in hella holes =( but anyway i had to replace my front bumper because it got smashed. soo it was either go back to stock. or go for a kit, soo i went for a kit. did you put a grill piece in for the 3 big *** holes or did you leave it plain ? i kinda want to put in fog lights some how.. somewhere lol but the kit doesnt seem to accomidate that very well =l

I personally am running the Kumho SPT 245/40/17's on my 04 STi and am very please with them. the have a 300 treadwear rating so they will last awhile and grip quite nicely as well. got them from tirerack.com for about $450 shipped to my door next day
