they said the 950s and the s03s are practically the same? that is stupid

the re950 is an all season tire with a treadwear of 400

the s03 is a summer tire with a treadwear of 220


that right there is a huge difference, the s03s are a lot sticker.

desi - you could measure the tread depth and I could shave ($25)an original RE92 ($78) to that depth and send it out. But considering most people are getting about 30k miles out of the RE92 as well as the dramatic improvements found by choosing a different tire, I'd go for the set of four.

There is indeed a huge difference between the S-03 and the RE950. Go with the 950 if you like the smoothness of your current tires and want a measurable improvement in everything else. Go with the S-03 if you want a drastic improvement in handling and traction with about a 20k mile treadlife.
