Tire Recommendations for 2004 STi

I recently purchased 18x8.5 Advan RGII's with +43 offset for my 04 STi. I was wondering what tire size is recommended for this size rim? I was thinking 235/40/18's? Will fender rubbing be an issue? LMK. Thanks fellas.

I'm in the same predicament...running 18x8 +43 offset Gram Lights...have 225x40x18...but I want to go up to 245x35x18's on my next set...was wondering if anyone test fitted this yet?

I am not sure about 18's, But for 17's i would get 240/40/17. So for 18 maybe you want 30/35.

i did the math and for 18s, 245/35 is closest to the stock wheel/tire diameter (225/45/17). 245/40 will have beefy side wall, and 235/40 will be a hair bigger with 18in rims.

when you settle on the size, get the Advan NEOVA AD-07 tires...they are awesome.

im about to switch tires. wondering if anyone knows if 245/35/18 will fit on a '04 STi, i have 18x8.5 rims w/ +48 offset dropped on prodrive springs. will it clear the spring mount? or do i have to run 235/40? i would really like to run the 245. would like some .02 on this one. thanks.

IIRC, imprezer used to run 255/40r17 on his 04 STI.
Nick, care to chime in? also what tires were those, brand/model#?
TIA
