New tires = steering and height issues?

So i replaced me stock Bridgestones at 15k and litterally as i left the shop i noticed my car didnt want to drive straight and the steering wheel is cocked to the drivers side about 5 degrees.

So I get home after driving it a bit not noticing anything that visually unsatisfying and take a tape measure to it, its sitting a half inch lower on the drivers side, it wasnt like this before and didnt handle like it does now before.

The tires i put on were BFG Gforce KDW 2's, the same size as stock 225/45/R17, i checked air pressure, made sure they didnt put them on reverse and even made sure they were all the same size. I am stumped, ive never had a vehicle do this before.

Any Ideas???

they might have messed up the alignment a little bit....maybe even to get you to come back and get it realigned. can't say for sure since i dont know the shop you took it to, but I wouldnt put it past (passed?) some of the shops I've seen. As for the height I don't know what to say. As for the handling, new tires have more flex in the tread before they grip so its understandable that it feel a little different

Naw they didnt play with anything on the car, I watched them do everything, and I am pretty mechanically inclined, thats why this is stumping me, I dont see how this could have happened... Next thing im going to do is try to get it aligned anyway, strange but maybe its just time and changing tires brought it out... not sure...

I understand the differnet handling characteristics you listed, so that is going to come into play also, biggest worry is ride height change... i jacked it up and looked under it nothing looks bent or hit, and took it for a test drive to see if i can settle it and it came out a little better but not much.
