New help before purchase
Al-rightie,
I recently got my first scoobie, a Legacy GT Wagon. This a wonderful car considering it's size and weight. I'm looking for aftemarket wheels already. My choices have narrowed to two wheel options and two tire size options:
1. Konig Imagine: per manufacturer: 17x7, 5x100 lug pattern, and offset of 40mm
2. Enkie RPM2: per manufacturer: 17x7, 5x100 patter, and 48 offset
Tire options:
Nitto 450: width 205 or 215
A question for for those in the know...
1. Will either of these wheels work for this car?
2. What aspect ratio makes the most sense??... with regards to ride compliance and handling as compared to stock 205/50/16
3. Local speed shop quoted $1350 for tire & wheel package for either; is this a good purchase?
Thanks in advance

yeah look at tirerack.com
or if your budget is a little tighter, perhape some rotas will work?
btw...your tire choice....eh
the tires are the most important part, so dont skimp on tires! A lot of people say those nitto's arent too great...my suggestions for cheap, economical tires are as follow
215 or 225 is good, but i dont know if 225 will rub....
falken azenis<<cheap auto-x tire with so-so tread life. Does adequate in the rain, but in the dry, it GRIPS....only 225, and 112 each at tires.om
kuhmo 712 people say its a good all around tire, not the grippiest for the track though, but gets the job done. treadwer IIRC is like 280, and is available in both 215 and 225. i think its 88 plus shipping at tirerack
sumitomo HTR+
all season tire avaiable in both 215 and 225. Dunno too much about it, but illl prolly get these, just cause of ts good ratings, and its 360 treadwear
honorable mentions
yok. avs es100 <<(i think thats the name??)
kuhmo 711<<<extremley cheap, under 70 bux a tire
there's a special right now on dunlop sp8000, 95 bucks each but only for size 215 at tirerack.com
thats all that i remember from the top of my head, sorry if some of the prices are wrong
good luck, and keep me informed about what you choose
