Questions before purchase of WRX
I'm just wondering if there are any issues I should be concerned with as far as warranty issues or frequent repairs. I had a '00 GTS Celica and traded it for a Land Rover(don't ask, biiiig mistake) and I am used to the reliability of Toyotas, they just don't offer anything that peaks my interest at this time. BTW, my other considerations are a Sentra SE-R SpecV and a Mazdaspeed Protege. Thanks.

I would do a search here, at i-club.com, or even at any other board that supports subaru's.
Mostly, people find that the clutch chatters, the stock tranny can't handle much over 400+ HP, and squeeky windows.
For '03, I believe that they addressed the issue of the 'clutch chatter,' included a light up key ring, and possibly addressed some other minor stuff.
Other than that, AWD, Turbo, 5 spd. makes for a fun car in the twisties, and you can take that, to the bank.
Drive one and be your own judge.
later, hope this helped,
