Help- Need to purchase a new battery???

I have a 2002 WRX and I have had some electrical issues but that is not what I want to talk about. I want to get a new battery for my car that is a little stronger. I want somehting that is radio/amp friendly but also somethign that is goign to do well for cold starts.

What are some good batteries that I can purchase that are easy slip ins to the 2002 WRX that will give me more juice for what I need?

I thought yellow tops had the lower CCA but more time for top preformance?

I am lookign at the red top but need to know if 35R is the right part number? Does it have to have reverse terminals?

optima batteries go for about $130.

I think..haaa. I bought one a long time ago for my stereo install but the butt munchers gave me the wrong one.

I'd also advice getting a cap.

Optima has a new yellow top battery out for sport compact cars. It is half the size of a normal yellow battery with the same power. It is really good for a big stereo system. Had one in my old car. I have seen them for sale through summit racing.
