Dexter can you or anyone else check this out

Hey all i have a set of kumho MX's 205/ 55R 16's on my car right now. I do track days and auto-X and my question is if i where to run my tires at 35-38 psi during a track day where there are some pretty good turns at high speeds and also hard braking then turning will the the beed of the tires break away from the rim??? with this tire size i see quite a bit of roll on the tire almost half way with them at 43psi , but i feel im just losing loads of grip at this psi. So what do you guys think??? i can't afford 17's anytime soon so i gotta make do with what i got. Thanks for any replies.

Mario,

The tire bead won't break lose as long as there's enough air in it to hold the car up. That pressure should work well, you may wish to lower the rear pressure to bring the back around a little better and help you hone in on the fastest way to get around the track.

Dexter,

Well i just got back from the track day and man you where right!!!! i was very impressed on how the kumhos held up but to my dissapointment (which i think is due to not having an align
ment) my FR tires tread was not wanting to stay on the tire on the outside. i think i had some + camber isssues, i should have worked out before i went to the track day. Thank you again Dexter
