Converting Outback Legacy Tires to my Legacy SE L Wagon

Hello,
Great forum, lots of info.
I have a 2003 Subaru Legacy SE L Wagon. I would like to fit my 16" wheels (205/55/R16) with Outback tires (225/60/R16). Is this possible? Or will they rub under my fenders? Could it be corrected with a suspension upgrade (Scorpion Lift Kit).
Thanks,
StarGazer

Stargazer,
I know what you're looking to do but I wouldn't recommend it. The 225/60s are almost 2" taller than your car desires. This does cause a problem in terms of speedometer error, gear ratio, fender rubbing, handling, etc.
The Scorpion suspension would address the fender rubbing and handling, but the other problems would still persist.
