So I've been reading the post about all these rims and size and I stil cant figure anything out. I'm sorry to admit but I am an Amature to this and really need all the help I can get. So here's situation.

I thinking of getting the 18 Inch Motegi Touge - Gloss Black Wheels 18" x 7.5" with Toyo Proxes FZ-4 235/45/18.

Is my size right and or should i change the tire size to 245/45/18? is that possible??? thanks for the help!!!

 

I forgot to add that I have an 2004 Wrx

 

I don't think size 245 rubber will fit a 17.5" rim.

 

Then if I were to go with the 235's, do u think i will have an problems as far as rubbing and fitment>??

 

with a 7 1/2 in rim, id go with 225. thats what mine are

 

245 will fit. that is what i am running on stock 04 STi wheels. 17x7.5. i will be running 275/40/17 on an 8 inch rim for race tires.

go with what your plans are with the car. race, bigger. daily driver, save the money and go a little smaller. 225 or 235

 

i would do 235/40/18.. if you really wanted the 235s. normally 225 would be the fitment of choice for the 7.5.
