break in period
I just got my new set of tires, Falken Azenis 615's, and was wondering what a good break in period is on them before I start doing any spirited driving.

To properly heat cycle them, go drive down the freeway about 25 miles, turn around and come home. Then put the car on jackstands overnight. Other than that, you just need to rub the mold release off of the tread, which the heat cycling should do.

i would drive them at least 450+ miles before i do some "spirited" driving. depends on the tire but generally peak grip comes after you wear the tire down at least to around ~30-65% tread for these type of tires. just my .02
