evolution engine and drivetrain

I am thinking about converting a Mitsubishi Mirage into an evolution and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction as far as a shop that could help me.

I am really wanting a sleeper car so that is my motivation for this project.

LOTS of fabrication if you are looking to go AWD with it. Structural mods to allow tha passage of the drive shaft to the rear wheels.

Definately not a cheap project car.

Isn't a Mirage the same as an (older) Evo? There is guy in my town that has a Mirage that looks exactly like an Evo 5. If they are the same chassis then it wouldn't be hard at all. I could be mistaken.

Maybe you should sell that car and get a Galant vr4. More of a sleeper when you remove the Vr4 sign. lol.

Smile conversion

well i remember that there was a feature in modified mag that had a mirage coupe that did that exactly, lots of cutting of the floor to get the awd suspension mounting points to the existing chassis, your best bet is to buy a wrecked evo complete with floor and just cut out the existing evo floor and weld it in, thats what I'm doing, heheh
