To flex or not to flex

To flex or not to flex
Simple question. I hear different pros and cons to a flex up pipe or straight flow from performance and installation... Im looking at either an invidia, turboxs or grimmspead. I am leaving Grimm, but are flex pipes not as reliable and leak prone or better on the turbo as pipe can expand and fit better?
