this has been discussed at some length, and the consensus seems to be that flex pipes do not cause exhaust leaks (if properly installed), while non-flex pipes eventually will. personally, i bought a flex pipe. i'd rather loose a couple of horsepower than have to deal with an exhaust leak.

leaks = bad
i got helix up and down pipe, installed it just last wensday
im in love
so much more low end gain
its like wham
i love what i got out of it
