Good driver's roads
I have had a frustrating 6 months with my 2004 WRX wagon. Wonderful car, but with the exception of spending some time on the snow and ice in a parking lot, I have yet to find a decent (read narrow, windey, little traffic and isolated from civilians and police) road to learn what Ms. Baru will do.
I'm from the mountains of Northern California where the roads of this description are plentiful.
I live in Jersey City, New Jersey and would appreciate any info on decent roads for fast runs in relative safety. Will attend a rally school in the spring, but also like a good run on real roads once in a while. I really need to learn to drive this little beast.
Thanks in advance.

i-Club members in the Sacramento area drove Wentworth Springs Rd last October (2003).
Hope you find your own Wentworth Springs Rd in your neck of the woods.
