Bigot is one who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ. You fit that perfectly, since you believe that your are a "moral" person and homosexuals are not. You are exactly what I concider what is wrong with this country. HellaDumb has just been demoted as the most out there person in this board by you. ****, atleast I actually find HellaDumb funny at times.
You might concider yourself "moral" yet you are forgetting a lot of the teachings of the bible. You are supposed to lead by example are you not? You are supposed to accept others for who they are? Are you not? Not only are you making yourself look bad but your making other religious people like myself look bad. I deplore people like you. Not only are you morals wrong they are very weak.
No two wrongs don't make a right but you sure do believe so. In one instance you agree that it does not harm you in anyway that they are gay. But in the other instance you constrict, with your beliefs, what they can or can not do. Not only does the bible disagree with your intolerant beliefs I think its the BACKBONE of what christians are about. Concider Jesus gave up his life because his beliefs where hated by others.
How are they taking away your rights? Please explain to me how giving them basic rights as human being is taking that right away from you. They are not just "different" they are BORN that way. Science backs this fact. Actually several animals have homosexual tendencies. And its not only that, there is a chemical difference in homosexual individuals than straight individuals. (Not to mention who would want to be gay growing up with all this religious stigma shown by people like deyes? Im sure people choose to get beat up.) How are they pushing there beliefs on you? Are they telling you to become gay? What they are telling you is that they should have the same rights you should no matter what beliefs they have. Maybe you don't get it but not everyone believes in god. Why should they? Why must they believe in what you believe to have the same rights as you? It seems to me that you are arguing something based on your FAITH. Why is your faith greater than there faith? What makes your religion better than theres? And like always MIGHT does not make RIGHT.
Its funny how a lot of Christians forget that they where the oppressed people when there religion started. How quickly they forget that, they stood up for what they believed in. And now that others are doing the same they push them down. People like you make me sick. Your a walking contradiction and can not back it up with a valid argument besides what your "faith" tells you. I really hope you take the time and re-read the parts of the bible that say to lead by example and to love others. Because you really missed that part.

No man has had the right to marry another man in this country and likewise women. Are we going to start giving them that right? It seems the answer is no.

In any case, if you're worried about that, Bush is your man...he's the only president who has actively supported the migrants' right to remain in the US working and entitled to the protection of the law here.

Christians where a repressed people correct? Homosexuals are the same, they are being repressed by others. And in that quote all I ment is that we, I am a Catholic after all, struggled for our faith and to be equals in the past. Why are we now supressing others from doing the same thing.

Yeah sorry I didn't make that very clear. I was starving litterally shaking with hunger.... sigh I hate not eating on time. Im more worried about other individual states pushing this through than Bush.

Seperation of church and state. The bible should not make decisions about how we run our country.
