I see what you're saying but this isn't a story on Watergate, it's exposing information that shouldn't be exposed. Look at it this way... The MSM has its loose-lipped sources all over the damn place such as the CIA, FBI, etc. If they all know what's going on before we do then they'll recognize the next Watergate and then publish it.

Where do you want me to send the invoice for my time spent for reading this garbage?
I suggest you go back to poly sci class and talk about your feelings more.

Beyond all that, I DO NOT want my government telling ME or the MEDIA what we can/cannot report/say. I will resist any and all attempts to stifle that basic right.

A. They arent waging a war in the classical sense. They are engaged in a low resource low intensity HIGH IMPACT war.
B. It doesnt take that much money to do what they do, esp in the areas they do it.
C. I agree with you on that last part. But there is a line there somewhere. When it endangers our ability to protect ourselves (and i mean really endanger, not some bull**** that politicans put up to vilify the media for their own ends) then that is a problem. As of yet i havent seen any of the recent stories endangering anyone. This is "no brainer" type of **** getting released (note the word i used). Anyone with a minor involvement in technology should be able to figure out that this **** has been going on for a long time. For gods sakes its their mother****ing job to spy on ****. If they werent doing that **** (and more) id be pretty damn bent about it.
