TSA to ease restrictions? Bad idea

Ummm, yeah, and what was it that was used on 9/11? Wasn't explosives.
Anybody else notice how the civilian world just loves to go back to its complacent roots? It's a slippery slope…
The changes are being made to put the focus on explosives, considered the "risk of greatest consequence," according to the source. These can be detected by "puffer machines," which have been deployed to some airports.

Box cutters are still not allowed and now that the Cockpit doors are bulletproof and there are Air Marshalls on various flights they think it's ok for people to carry their multi-tools.
Honestly I don't see any problem with the easing of the restrictions. If someone stands up on a flight with a 3 inch blade and starts screaming about taking over the plane you can bet your *** they won't get far. The passengers won't allow it. And if there is an air marshall on board then it would be real exciting.
Even if they started killing passengers they wouldn't be able to take over the plane anyways because nothing gets through that cockpit door once the plane is in flight. Not to mention the 100 percent baggage screening policy that is in effect now.
