What's your definition of a troll?
I've spent the majority of my time here at I-club talking about Subarus, as a Subaru owner, if that's what you're asking.

Listen...

If you think the Moderator’s posts are outlandish and silly then that's your gripe.

About 90% of my posts have been straight from the reputable news sources and I’ve merely interpreted them to the best of my ability...

As for other posts or members, I wish I had the power to put people in time-out, troll hall or even ban. Unfortunately, I-Club's rules are for the birds and people can abuse them anyway they want without getting in trouble (unless there’s ****, irrefutable racism, extreme bashing etc.)

There's been numerous pathetic posts that I’ve wanted to delete or edit but I know people would ***** and moan about it eventually. Instead… I-Club would rather award these posters with custom titles and hold their hands.

I think that if someone cannot contribute ANYTHING constructive, they should be somehow punished. I'm not talking one or two sarcastic posts here and there- they liven things up. However, the incessant farse spewed from (I believe it's understood who I'm speaking of) does nothing but distract from and dimminish the argument or points being made.

Helladumb: I'm another user, and I'd also appreciate it if you found a different online forum to troll... you sure as hell aren't welcome here. (then again, maybe you get off on all of the hate you recieve- I'll even admit that I used to kind of do the same thing in chatrooms- back when I was TEN!

That really hurts =). Honestly, this is a political forum and >50% DON'T agree with you. If you haven't realized that then go ahead and think what you want.

I will tone it down a bit, but am not promising to leave.

Even though I-Club is fairly laid back, it’s still Alex's AO and Dre and myself want to keep it going in a certain direction... That being the more interesting direction with discussion and member participation on an intellectual level.

Believe it or not forums and chat rooms do not have to abide by free speech laws. If Alex had rules about not posting adjectives and verbs in a post then we'd need to abide by his rules. It would be on your shoulders if you wanted to abide those rules in a respectful manner or leave.

Dumb... it is clear that you have pissed off several people on this board. This harks back to one particular Lakers fan who kept flaming thread with Lakers banners, and was finally asked to cease and desist.

It is fun going back and forth with people who think differently. Heck, Salty and I have verbally sparred numerous times with no blood lost. I dont want to see you leave... the purpose of this post was to ask if we could keep things on a certain level, rather than sink to the diatribes of name-calling that have plagued the forum as of late.

The best course of action is to not entertain ridiculous comments by anyone.

That way, they either A) don't get the reaction they want and go away or B) they start putting some thought into their posts and they contribute to the discussion.
