I regret that my tax dollars are being used for such a sanitary, PC death sentence. Take him behind the jail and feed him a 5.56 to the head. I've no sympathy for him.

So, would you guys be willing to teach the kids the lessons he has through his books? would you be willing to counsel gang members and help them leave gangs like he has? Are you guys seriously that stupid that you think killing a man is more benificial to our world than life in prison and allowing him to help others? Do you not realize that people do change? Prison was originally meant for reform, not revenge. The death penalty is nothing more than revenge justified by the childish excuse of "He did it first." I hope you all are soon effected by gang violence that could have been avoided with Tookie's help...and you know it will happen.

Yeah, that's a really mature standpoint. I work every day dealing with gang related violence and drug traffic and know exactly how it works. This guy would have still been committing murders had he not been caught. This guy is a puppet of his own cowardice. The only reason he even attempted to give back the society he disserviced is because he realized his *** was on the line. Whatever the case may be there are 4 families somewhere seeking retribution for their lost loved ones. If someone from my family had been killed (and you probably feel the same) I'd want to see justice served and have this guys sentenced carried out.

Here's the lesson dip****, you kill 4 innocent people over a couple hundred bucks and ruin thousands of lives and you get a needle in the arm. The only lesson he's taught from writing his lame little books is that if you kill a bunch of people, have a cute little name like "tookie" and write a couple books for people who happen to have the same inteligence level as you, you'll have a bunch of degenerate celebraties rally your cause.

whoah, whaoh buddy, never wish gang violence on anyone, first of all.....

lets not forget that this man was a sherm head, gangster, who ruthlessly executed 4 people......one man for $60, and the others in the motel for $100. I have no sympathy for gangsters, no sympathy for murderers, and definitely no sympathy for junkie, gangster, murderers.

Regardless of the "childrens books" this man has written (i believe the edition was of only 300), the only reason I see to "stay" the execution is because of his willingness to talk to young people about joining gangs.

The whole snoop thing is just retarded.....why is he STILL making "crip" music if he truly denounces gangs?

The death penalty is archaic IMO. While our judicial process and adjudication methods have advanced considerably since the dawn of man, we are unable to eveolve from Hammurabi's Code, a code of laws that esoupses taking eye for an eye.

I don't think that Tookie should receive special consideration, but I can only hope that this whole affair makes others think about a process that murders people because they murdered someone else.

That's sad, because it reveals more about you and how you assume that others won't follow the rule so you don't...I think a lot more of us adhear to the golden rule than you'd like to admit.

Here's the thing dumbass, I've been affected by gang violence because this ***** called "tookie" williams started this wonderful orginization called the crips. I have 2 family members dead at 16 and 23 cause his fellow crabs decided that since they wouldn't join they should'nt live. Also I have past transgressions with some of the ***** as ***gots as they have took shot's at me 10+ times in my life. So until your happy little theorized existence is affected by what this ***** started, stay the **** out of my justice system. This is just gang violence that occurred through the so called crips, if we were to delve deeper there is more reason for my so called "he did it first" attitude. You bet your *** I'm glad there is a death penalty for his kind, it's just too bad it's not a more expedient proccess.

Quit supporting this guy. It comes down to playing by the rules. I can do it so can he, but he didn't. You get what you deserve. Just think if he lived as an arabic man and did these things, there would have already been a more swift and just conclusion to his life. But no he has to live in california where he can stay in level 4 security in his own cell and get free meals and showers and have plenty of time to ponder why he did what he did. They shouldn't have even let this guy have the chance to write books but I bet his liberal quack said it would be good for him. Just give him his hour of daylight and let him read or stare at a wall.

I'm not saying you don't, I'm saying how often? I know I use it pretty often, unknowingly.

As much as I don't like the death penalty I cannot argue for this guy. This was the sentance and his appeal was rejected all the way up and down the justice system most of the time the decisions were unanimous.

Justice will be served in his case. Hopefully he made his peace like 1Regu said.
