You're sounding more and more like a social conservative... that's a no no buddy.

Don't jump on the bandwagon, and please don't regurgitate things you hear and read on the interweb.

The President is our rep to the world, not much more than that. Take some classes in government while you're in school. It takes a diplomat, a leader, someone with vision.

McCain can do an awesome job, i just don't agree with him on some topics. I feel Obama can do the same.

But Palin as VP, no way. She is not who I want seated at head of congress.

California isn't doing that bad!

At least he forces these stupid party idiots to do something. He hands out punishment when they sit twiddling their thumbs. He's doing a pretty ****ing good job for an actor.

I read something on page one that said Obama+Biden= bad... Palin is probably the worst VP McCain could've picked, everybody including McCain was doggin on Obama for not having experience yet Palin has been in office for only 20 months and she is already being subpeona'd to court, what the hell does that mean? If she is ****in up that bad in ALASKA just think of what she could do in the white house

In her defense, she didn't necessarily screw up. Her decision to fire a police chief who refused to fire a state trooper who happens to be her former brother-in-law is under ethical review by the state.

Not that I'm interested in defending her, but I wouldn't necessarily say that she screwed up.

Juno was a very popular movie. I think her family plays that very well.

You're blaming him for that!?!

He may be wanting to cut the budget, but the budgets are voted on by the state assembly, he signs of on it. He'll sign pretty much anything as long as it's balanced, but it's law makers that are fighting over this crap. Partisan BS.

Increased taxes. Increased government interference. Socialized medicine. No personal responsibility. Redistribution of Wealth. Class warfare. Cutting and running in the War on Terror. Penalties on profits. Ending 1099 Independent Contractor Status. And More.

Is that what you got from the Rebublican Blanket Statement Handbook? It must be in some republican pamphlet or something. Instead of promoting their own policies and showing how well they've worked for the last 8 years, they just attack the other party. Not that the democrats are saints, but it's typical partisan bull**** used to hide from actual issues.

Such as:

How do they plan on cutting taxes and govt spending while continually funding the war and fixing the already deregulated economy?

Instead of cutting and running, how do they prepare to "win" an already unpopular war that has been going on for 5 years. I've heard no plans on how we will win, or even what winning consists of in this case. Instead focusing on how the insane liberals and the majority of the country want our troops out of a war that we were led into via lies. What about the war in Afghanistan that has been going on for even longer and gets continually overlooked? Where's the "surge" for those troops?

Socialized medicine, this has been thrown around so much it's just rhetoric and used to scare people into thinking it's bad and has something to do with America becoming a socialist country. Either way, neither candidate has a solid health care reform plan. The proposals by both candidates are questionable and may never be made into legislation. The health care problem is too big and the country is to broke to revise the entire system.

As for welfare, did you assume that with a republican administration that welfare would go away and everyone would have jobs. Welfare and food stamps will still be around and it will still come from tax dollars. Whether or not people must participate in community service or some other form of volunteering doesn't creat any more tx dollars.

These are just some of the issues. Talking about the issues at least keeps an open mind about them instead of throwing out tired republican rhetoric.
