I wasn't trying to make this a rights issue. All i'm saying is that if they actually do this then it shouldn't be an issue if the fed govt pulls out everything. The problem is our govt would never let that happen. But assuming they did the people of Berkeley wouldn't stand for it.
My point is this isn't simply about a recruiting station being in their limits but them taking their typical anti-military stance. My issue is that you cannot demand things from the fed govt when the military still guarantees the federally funded things continuing to funnel into their city. Hypothetically speaking, if they didn't complain that everything the govt offered them was put to a halt then I would support their decision. But you know that will never happen which is the problem.

I understand freedom of speech, but this is pushing to far. To push out the military is to much and will open to many doors for the rest of the country to follow suit.

They're backpedaling now. The only thing this group of *******s is sorry about is the possibility of losing federal funding. Cowards don't even have the ***** to back-up what they wrote for risk of losing funds. As far as I'm concerned they should take their apology and shove it up their asses.

We, and I personally, are going to recomend that they ALL along with us boycott your city, its purveyors, suppliers, and businesses and CHARITIES of every kind.
You have every right to choose to take the obnoxious anti-military stance you have taken, and as stated, that right was bought for you with the blood of better men than you.
I too have every right to do all that I can to insure that your city suffers consequences arising from that obnoxious, sickening stance.
