I agree with this
Michigan is now the third state in the nation to outlaw racial preferences at public entities
I think an employee should be chosen based on skill and other characteristics the employer is looking for. Not mainly on race.

Thank god. I firmly belive that there are still inequalities in the U.S., but affirmative action has never been, and will never be, the resolution for those inqualities. I agree that the feds should follow suit and do away with affirmative action nationwide.

affirmative action = racism/sexism/fillintheblankism

Affirmative Action is retarded, when one of my parents was highering for the state of california he had some guy who was WAY less qualified for the job(but was black) and interviewed ALOT worse then a white guy, but his boss told him he has to higher the black guy anyways.... Stupid

A lawsuit has been filed to try to stop the proposal from taking place....

This I don't understand....The voters of Michigan OVERWHELMINGLY voted to adopt this proposal and some judge could just strike it down? What is that about?

Oh and U of M could also file suit to try to change the law....NICE....

I knew I hated U of M for a reason...
