There's most likely an OP for reconnoiter purpose up the road away from the objective. Those at the OP are either communicating with radio OR signal depending on distance apart. Once the word is given that ANY enemy vehicle is approaching two or more men in that building (located at the right of the screen 5 seconds before the attack) prep their RPG's or 40mm grenades via M203.
The shots are fired from an elevated position on the right side of the vehicles. You can tell by the impact of the round closest to the right side of the vehicle. Had it been shot from the left side of the road then the grenade would have to clear the suburban's cab like a 3point shot. The only way to do this is to vector the round into the air thus making it extremely inaccurate.
The other unlikely option is if the combatants cooked off their grenades (near the sidewalk of the same building on the right) and threw them at a tremendous speed so you couldn't see them.
