Quoting from your source:

Beliles and McDowell explain that a Christian's primary responsibility is to create material wealth and God will increase natural resources accordingly. Secular society, which views natural resources as limited,

"lack(s) faith in God's providence and consequently, men will find fewer resources... The Christian knows that the potential in God is unlimited and that there is no shortage of resources in God's earth." (197)

As a Christian, this type of stuff makes me cringe. In Psalm 119, it is written that the heavens reveal the glory of God. In Psalm 23, the psalmist talks about being led through green pastures and open flowing rivers. Throughout the New Testament, Christ enters into times of meditation by going into places of natural beauty.

Regardless of weather or not Christ enjoyed nature, his name and 'infinite ability to provide' is being used as an excuse to not preserve the environment.

Says Beliles and McDowell, who are they anyways? What makes the people at theocracywatch.org think that they speak for all Christians let alone the President?
