The last ballot measures were all designed that, if passed, the state would save money.
I pointed out that if the state wanted to save money, it should only print the ballots in English, which is the official language here in California.
Just think how many teachers would still have their jobs if the millions of dollars that are wasted on printing Unconstitutional multi lingual ballots instead went to education.

Where in the constitution is there a "no English=no vote" clause? I could not find anything binding the English language with public voting. English is deemed the official language of California to the extent that it does not conflict with our rights provided in the US constitution.
ARTICLE 2 VOTING, INITIATIVE AND REFERENDUM, AND RECALL
ARTICLE 3 STATE OF CALIFORNIA (see Sec. 6 for "official language" provisions)
Financial issues shouldn't be solely dictated by financial issues, and visa versa.
I'd like to see some actual data to show that millions were spent printing ballots in other languages. Think about how many Cali school teachers would still be employed if the state actually came up with a viable budget instead of guessing and winding up $15-21 billion short. I guess they can't even tell how much they overspent.

You might as well be shooting in the dark without a clear understanding of what you are voting on. It's hard enough to get people who are literate and speak English to understand what they are voting for.
