Hope for CA...

Maybe the people of this state aren't totally fuxored in the head and still remember how to send a message to their politicians....

The "payday loan" was resoundingly shot down and there's an across the board pay cut of 18% for elected officials.

8% of eligable voters is not a message. They woke up this morning business as usual. A special election that cost tax payers millions that will net nothing.

And why are the ****ing ballots still printed in any other language than English!
That's a huge waste of money as well as being unconstitutional.

That would be argued as a discriminatory voting requirement. Don't worry though, the Supreme Court has been working on doing away with that whole silly "Civil Rights Act" of the 60's, section 5 (the one requiring location of polling places to be preapproved by the justice department) is already gone. Why do minority groups need polling locations within reasonable distance? That's just silly!

SO they can vote early and vote often. They all got too many DUIs and can't drive. They've all stolen each others cars and noone has a ride? They would have voted, but in the morning the bathroom line is fourteen deep. I think what Paul is saying is if you're granted citizenship and are eligable to vote you should be required to speak english.

I see your point Matt but to be honest, this is a typical response from a Kool-Aid enriched CA "free thinker". How would you define a country?

We DO NOT have a declared national language. It is that simple. Until that happens, stop your *****ing.
