That's some BS. I don't think it will stand. Can people be so stupid to thank that the law abiding citizens that turn their guns in were affecting the crime rate? Congrats SF, you all just became the prey of gun totting criminals everywhere.

After a crime wave, these lemmings will figure out that making yourself helpless doesn't promote peace. On the bright side, we should see a lot of nice used guns on the market soon!

hmm, wonder what happens if you don't hand over your gun.
All you gun owners did vote last night right?!
I don't see how this got passed.
What happened to the 'right to bear arms'?
This is sooo ****ing gay.

You guys do realize that regardless of your stance on gun ownership (personally, I voted in favor of the measure), that as soon as it is challenged, it will be gone, right? Its completely unconstitutional....
And please, Matt, its not gay. It may be silly, stupid, unethical, wrong, bad, poor planning, etc. But it doesn't have an orientation. I find that offensive.

If any SF ppl wanna get rid of your guns, I'll take them off your hands.
Wonder if ppl will actually move out of the city instead of selling their guns??

i REFUSE to EVER live in SF, im way to conservative to live in a pisshole like SF...its nice to visit and look around, but id never live there... and btw
"San Francisco voters are smart and believe in sensible gun control," said Supervisor Chris Daly, who was among the four board members who placed the measure on the ballot. "If Prop. H gets some handguns out of San Francisco and mitigates some of the violence, then it's a win."
the only smart SF voters were the 42% that voted to KEEP handguns....btw Daly is a b1tch for claiming getting handguns out of SF will decrease crime....taking away weapons for law biding citizens will never decrease any crime, criminals will still get what they want no matter what. DUH
