The violence will end in Iraq as soon as the "insurgents" stop terrorizing the Iraqi people, and soon after that happens we will no longer need to occupy Iraq.

People make it seem much more complex but this is the main reason why the USA has a larger presence in Iraq than ever before.
We’re sending thousands upon thousands of more troops (including two of my old unit’s) to Iraq JUST for the sake of Iraq’s election security.
