To be honest, Oaf, I got my EIB and was also EIB cadre for 2 seperate years (claymore one year and Javelin (not dragon
) another). I can honestly see women passing the stations with a higher percentage than men but not so much on the PT test (if they had the same standards) and/or the road march. I can see a handful of women passing with flying colors and more power to them! In the end, however, I just can't see it being effective when we don't need women in combat arms... we just don't need them.
The only other time I encountered women was in Airborne school, (all were squared away in Advanced school) and PLDC. I can remember running into a couple squared-away women in both schools and actually have them in charge of me in a squad -or- chalk without a problem. On the other hand, I remember the others as soup-sandwiches with extreme potty mouths. Some of them froze in the door and some of them got their E5 without being a leader. Fine... I'd like to see half these women do some of the **** that's done in infantry, LRS etc. and not cry because they need to wash their vaginas every two days.
But that's just me... if they're on a 110% level playing field then they're good to go in my book. I can remember running next to a certain 03 woman putting down 6min miles for 6miles without breaking a sweat so...

hot, sweaty co-operations, bordering on the fringes of sexy combat. I know many privates that would rise to that occasion.

From: Are you too one of the few still living the past? Well I can change that! With a simple wicket. Yes, my friend, a wicket. PM for details.
Car Info: No car right now....sob.
I'm all for it. If women want equal rights, then give them ALL the rights....not just the good stuff.

You guys seem to forget about EO, harassment and the fact that there will be major/minor inconviences on BOTH parts for women. It has the potential to turn our fighting men into sensitive flowers... something you don't want in a combat unit.
